
Dr. Radha Shivaramaiah

Dr. Radha Shivaramaiah is an Assistant Professor in the School of Energy Sciences & eMobility at Atria University. Her work at AU lies at the intersection of sustainable materials, clean energy technologies, and circular economy. She has over a decade of academic and industrial research experience, her expertise includes inorganic synthesis, structure-property relationship, materials for electro catalysis & energy storage, critical materials, and green hydrogen production.
She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry and has led interdisciplinary projects on critical materials extraction, glass waste valorization, structure solution and carbon nanotubes sorting & their applications. Her work at AU focuses on extraction of critical elements from waste, lithium-ion battery recycling and development of reversible hydrogen fuel cells, aimed at enabling decentralized hydrogen generation.
Before joining Atria University, Dr. Radha held research and engineering positions at University of California Davis and Saint-Gobain research contributing to innovation in material sustainability.
She is passionate about science outreach, sustainable innovation, and mentoring the next generation of scientists and entrepreneurs.
