The Centre of Excellence (CoE) in E-Mobility is established to serve as a multidisciplinary hub for innovation, research, skill development, and industry collaboration in next-generation mobility technologies. The Centre aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing students, researchers, and professionals with hands-on experience in electric vehicles (EVs), battery technologies, autonomous systems, intelligent transportation, and sustainable mobility solutions.
Vision: To become a nationally recognized centre driving innovation, research excellence, and skilled workforce development in domain agnostic electric mobility and future autonomous transportation technologies.
Mission: To foster cutting-edge research, facilitate industry-oriented training, promote entrepreneurship, and develop sustainable autonomous mobility solutions through advanced laboratories, collaborative projects, and interdisciplinary education.

MS by Research —eMobility
Duration
2 Years
Stipend
If a candidate is assigned to any sprint delivery or engaged as a Project/Teaching Assistant, a stipend of ₹18,000 per month shall be paid.
Fees
First Year: ₹75,OOO* | Second Year: ₹1,25,000**
PhD Programme — eMobility
Duration
3 years (Full-time) and 4 years (Part-time).
Stipend
Stipend: A stipend of ₹38,000 per month shall be provided only to Full-time PhD scholars, subject to the University's applicable terms and conditions.
Fees
Part-time PhD (Working Professionals): ₹50,000 per year | Full-time PhD: ₹50,000 per year.

MS by Research
For graduates seeking advanced research specialisation in Energy Sciences.
- B.Tech / B.E in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering field with minimum 60% marks
- Valid GATE score preferred (EE, ME, or relevant paper)
- Statement of purpose highlighting research interests
- Interview with the Energy Sciences faculty committee
PhD Programme
For candidates seeking to lead original research in Energy Sciences, Battery Technology.
- M.Tech / M.E / M.Sc in Electrical, Energy, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% marks
- Valid GATE / UGC-NET score strongly preferred
- Research proposal submitted at time of application
- Interview and research aptitude assessment
