We hosted a 3-day fun and exciting workshop for select high-school students. The students were part of the online harmonica course that was uniquely crafted for friends of Atria University. This course illustrated how project-based learning can be a lot of fun, while also being effective in learning complex skills for life.

By mastering this tiny instrument, students join the ranks of some pretty famous musicians like John Mayer, Shakira, Sheryl Crow, Mick Jagger, Alanis Morissette, Stevie Wonder, Bono (U2), Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), and Bruce Springsteen. And, that’s something to aspire to.

Event Schedule

• June 10, 2020 | 6:00-6:45 pm: Students will learn the basics of the instrument and receive their first musical challenge
• June 12, 2020 | 6:00-6:45: Learnings from the challenge and upgrade to the next musician challenge
• June 15, 2020 | 6:00-6:45: Students get to see a compiled video of how they all did in the advanced challenge along with some pro tips on the instrument
