We are a new university, seeking to impart education that is project-based, learner-centric and skills first. We want to prepare our students to be interdisciplinary problem solvers and entrepreneurs in the complex world of tomorrow, with majors aligned to developing sectors of the industry.
We are seeking candidates to help imagine and create an all-new business curriculum that is in tune with entrepreneurship and industry. We seek to offer Bachelors of Business Administration in any of our 5 industry-relevant domains (see https://www.atriauniversity.edu.in/academics/majors/). We want the BBA to encourage them to use business as a force for positive change in the society.
If you have experience in business/entrepreneurship and care about training the next generation of change-makers, we want you to join us and grow with us! We are looking for collaborators, facilitators and visionaries to build our programs and community, and look forward to interacting with you through the application process!
We expect applicants to have
- MBA/PhD or equivalent in relevant field
- Experience with one full cycle of a startup environment or a small/medium sized business. We want someone who has had exposure to the full functioning of a business organization.
- 8+ years of coaching/mentorship/education experience in the industry or academics
- Experience working in interdisciplinary settings.
- Demonstrated ability to systematically plan and run programs.
- Bonus: Management / Consulting experience in any of the industry sectors aligned with the 5 majors at AU.
- Interdisciplinary teaching / alternative pedagogy experience / good track record as an educator

Implementing solutions to real world problems demands that science, technology and design be combined with commercial viability. Business people enable technologies to be commercially successful within their focal context and population. The BBA degree at Atria University will help students understand –
- Operational efficiencies – efficiencies in expense management,
- Project management – how to plan large projects
- Scheduling
- Marketing
- Sales and customer acquisition
- Business operations and providing services
- Supply chain and operations across desired industry sectors
At AU each of the above points will be learned in the context of an industry sector, which is the major in which the students will receive their BBA.
About the University:
Atria University is innovating an education framework focused on empowering students to “Learn how to Learn”, combining interdisciplinarity, project based learning and innovative pedagogies towards making the problem solvers of tomorrow. Our first batch of students started in November 2021 at the heart of Bengaluru – a vibrant metropolis and hub of research, technology, art and enterprise in India.
We teach most courses as 1-3 week full-time immersive modules, with students working on fundamentals in the context of real-world problems. We currently offer majors in 5 domains – Digital Transformation, Energy Sciences, Interactive Technologies, Life Sciences and Mobility

Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Hired faculty are entitled to assistance for relocation. Our dedicated administrators are here to answer questions related to taxation, visa, transportation, childcare, and accommodations.
