Janani Eswar is a social entrepreneur who is passionate about connecting nature-connected communities, especially for children. As she joins the Atria University team as a Visiting Faculty, we excitedly look forward to the unique learning adventures she will create for our students. Janani works through experiential education, play, and active learning pedagogies to encourage students to explore environmental education through the lens of personal relationships. In 2016, she founded Growing In Nature (GRIN) that creates opportunities for children to connect to nature for happy and healthy futures. She has also been working with over 60 different educational institutions including Azim Premji University and the University of Minnesota in implementing educational programs in relation to environmental education.

Homeschooled from an early age, Janani’s interests and knowledge extend across business studies, psychology, communication skills, naturalist studies, theater, fine arts, photography, among other subjects.
